Nelson have signed South African all rounder Keshav Maharaj as their professional for the 2015 season.

 

Maharaj is a 24 year old left arm spinning all rounder from Durban who plays for The Dolphins franchise and Kwazulu-Natal

 

From 55 first class games Keshav has 1321 runs at an average of 22.38 with a highest score of 114 not out. He has also picked up 178 wickets at 25.71 with match best figures of 9-71.

 

Maharaj has recently returned from India where he was part of the Dolphins side who played in the T20 Champions League. Maharaj has also represented South Africa at academy and 'A' team level.

 

Maharaj has had previous league experience playing for Cuckfield in the Sussex Premier League.
