Nelson professional Shahzaib Hasan has left the club. His contract has been terminated by mutual consent due to ongoing family issues.

 

Nelson vice chairman Colin Pemberton said: "Shahzaib leaves with our best wishes. Nelson Cricket Club would like to thank him for all his efforts."

 

In his time at Nelson, Hasan scored 288 runs at 26.2 with just one half century in eleven league matches.

 

His bowling was something of bonus as he picked up 28 wickets at 19.2 with a best of 7-68 at Church.
