Guy Daly had a very short first-class career, playing in just one match for Glamorgan – against Cambridge University at Swansea in 1938 – but after bowling just seven overs, the Hampshire born all-rounder was injured, and he did not re-appear in any other county games.

 

Daly had a good record in club cricket for Abergavenny, and he first played for Glamorgan 2nd XI in their Minor County matches in 1936.
