| Player: | WG Davies |
Billy Davies took a wicket with his first delivery in county cricket, playing against Surrey at The Oval in 1958.

He had initially played for the county`s 1st team at the age of 18 as an opening batsman, but he later developed into a useful medium pace bowler. The all-rounder made a total of 32 appearances for the Welsh county until 1960 when he left the staff to take up a job with Refuge Assurance.
Davies continued to play in club cricket for Hill`s Plymouth and Barry, in addition to appearing for Wales.
