| Player: | EH James |
Edward James was another stalwart of club cricket in the years after the Great War. The left-handed batsman and left-arm spinner played with success for Briton Ferry Steel, Gowerton and Maesteg.

In 1920 he made his debut for Glamorgan and took 7/44 against Devon at Neath. He subsequently appeared in three first-class matches for the county in 1922, and was very proud to see his son David, follow him into both club cricket for the Briton Ferry club and also the Glamorgan side in 1948.
