Edward Jones had a good record in club cricket for Cardiff and Barry. In 1926 the right-handed batsman was called into Glamorgan`s side that met Leicestershire at Leicester, but Jones did not bat or bowl in the game, and was not called up again.

 

Jones was a policeman with the South Wales Constabulary
