| Player: | GNTW Samuel |
Glyn Samuel was a promising schoolboy batsman who was in the Uppingham XI in 1934 and 1935, before playing three times for Glamorgan in 1936.

The right hander was highly regarded and he played in some of Glamorgan`s Minor County matches in 1936 and 1937. However, like many of his generation he lost his best years to the Second World War and never appeared again in first-class cricket.
