Howard Morgan was a right-handed batsman and off-spinner who joined the Glamorgan staff in the mid-1950`s. He produced some useful performances in 2nd XI matches, but with Jim McConnon and Don Shepherd as Glamorgan`s first choice off-spinners, Morgan only played in two Championship matches in 1958.

 

He left Glamorgan`s staff at the end of 1958 and became a schoolmaster in Cardiff, in addition to acting as a selector for the Welsh Schools Under-19 team.
