| Player: | WL Law |
Wayne Law made his debut for Glamorgan 2nd XI in 1995, before spending the 1996 on the Lord's groundstaff during which time he also played for the M.C.C. Young Cricketers.

The promising right handed batsman and off spinner played for Swansea C.C. since his early teens, and in 1995 he played for England U-17. Law has also played for Wales and he made his first-class debut in 1997 for Glamorgan against Oxford University at The Parks, hitting his first ball for four.
Law also played in the last couple of Sunday League matches in 1997, and he impressed coach Duncan Fletcher with his natural flair with the bat, and graceful timing. Following Hugh Morris' retirement, Law got a chance in 1998 to stake a claim for a regular place in the 1st XI. He responded with a maiden century against Lancashire at Colwyn Bay, and in 1999 played a series of diligent innings, in particular at Blackpool, when he defied the wiles of Muttiah Muralitharan for over four hours.
However, he failed to win a regular place in the county`s side in 2000, and left the staff at the end of the season.
