Surrey 2nd XI won this match by an innings and 110 runs on the second day. In their first innings Wiltshire were bowled out for 230 in 2¼ hours with Davenport's 51 containing 1 five and 7 fours. For the winners Sandham from the Mitcham club secured his fourth successive century in a week and was said in the provincial press as promising much for the future and soon to be selected for the Surrey 1st XI. His 104 included 1 five and 12 fours. Myers's 85 included 1 five and 10 fours, Abel's 61 contained 13 fours and Spring's 61 contained 1 six, 1 five, and 10 fours. Abel and Myers added 110 for the second wicket.
