The Queensland team, returning home from their match against New South Wales in Sydney, stopped off for a one day match against Newcastle.
Bradley gave a very entertaining display and with Macdonald, more aggressive than usual, added 128 for the third wicket.
Hogue, aged 18 years and 75 days, showed distinct promise in his innings of 55.
HF Boyle, formerly of Victoria, made his first and only appearance for Queensland at the age of 48 years and 9 days.
