			Holders West Indies meet World champions Australia in what promises to be an intriguing encounter.
			After qualifying top of Group 'B' Australia defeated New Zealand in the Semi-Final, West Indies were second in Group 'B' then defeated South Africa in their semi-final. The sides met earlier in the Group stages where a hat trick from Jerome Taylor gave the West Indies a narrow victory.
			Australia and West Indies have met in all 112 times in ODIs, West Indies winning 57, and Australia 51. Two were tied and two had no results.
			The record of matches on Indian soil is 2 a piece.
			The first ever ODI between the sides was at 1975 in the World Cup in England, West Indies coming out on top by 7 wickets.
			Australia's top score against West Indies is 338 for 6 in Melbourne in 2000/2001. West Indies highest score is 313 for 9 at St.Johns, Antigua in 1977/1978 season.
			Brian Lara the West Indies captain needs 54 runs to achieve the 10,000 run milestone in ODI's.
