For the winners, Wharmby took 10 wickets in the match for 110 runs. He also scored 62 not out, including ? fours in the Bedfordshire second innings. His all-round performance of scoring 82 runs and taking 10 wickets for 110 runs was the best of the season in a match for a bowler taking 10 or more wickets. Oliver's 55 contained ? fours.
