Kerala's P Prasanth has been selected to the Indian South Zone team playing in the Deodhar Trophy Tournament

The classy all rounder from Trivandrum had a decent outing in the Subbaiah Pillai trophy held at Vishakapattanam last month with 138 runs (46.00 Avg) and 8 wickets (28.75 Avg). Prasanth plays for the Southern Railway in the Chennai league.

Left arm seamer P Parameswaran has been included as reserve
