The second National Women’s Cricket Championship 2006 is scheduled to be held from 2-12 March, 2006. Ten regional cricketing teams will participate in the Championship which is to be played in two rounds. The preliminary round will be played in three zones (Karachi, Lahore and Rawalpindi) and the final round will be played at Lahore.

 

The teams participating in the tournament are as follows:

 

Lahore Zone	Lahore Region, Faisalabad Region, Sialkot Region, Multan Region
Karachi Zone	Karachi Region, Hyderabad Region, Quetta Region
Rawalpindi Zone	Rawalpindi Region, Islamabad Region, Peshawar Region

 

The schedule for the preliminary round of the tournament is as follows:

The schedule for the final round of the tournament to be played at Lahore is as follows:

Note:

• The tournament will be played on a Round Robin league format.
• The top team on the points table from each zone will play the Final Round at Lahore.
• Preliminary round matches will be 40 overs aside.
• Final round matches will be 50 overs aside
