Chairman announces new appointments by Pakistan Cricket Board

Chairman PCB has announced the following appointments:

 

i) Mr Saleem Altaf as Director Cricket Operations. Mr Saleem Altaf will be in-charge of all cricketing issues and would represent PCB at ICC and ACC Meetings of senior executives.

 

He will also act as Secretary to the Board.

 

ii) Mr Abbas Zaidi as Director Board Operations. Mr. Zaidi would be in-charge of all non-cricketing matters, (e.g. Administration, Finance, Marketing and Media etc.).

 

iii) An ad hoc Committee comprising:
Mr Imtiaz Ahmed
Dr Naseem Ashraf
Mr Mueen Afzal
Mr Ali Raza
Mr Saleem Altaf - as ex-officio member in his capacity as Director Cricket Operations

 

The ad hoc Committee would normally meet once a month but, if required, would convene at short notice to consider specific issues. The first meeting of the ad-hoc Committee will be held in mid-February, 2005.

 

The appointments were proposed to the Patron-in-Chief last month and have since been approved.

 

The Advisory Panel would continue to meet on a quarterly basis.
