Dewi Penrhyn Jones joins Glamorgan’s full-time staff for 2015 having been a member of the Club’s Academy last summer during which time the young pace bowler appeared for the Welsh county in their Royal London One-Day Cup match against the Middlesex Panthers at the SWALEC Stadium.

 

Born in Wrexham in 1994, and educated at Ellesmere College, Dewi has played for the Wales Minor Counties side since 2012, besides having experience of playing in the Birmingham Leagues. He spent the winter of 2014/15 in Australia, working with former Australian pace bowler Geoff Lawson at the University of New South Wales.
