Robert moved to Scotland with my family at the age of one and first began playing cricket for his local team, Forfarshire, at the age of eight after encouragement by his father. While also playing rugby and football, he has since then he has represented Scotland at cricket at every possible age group, enjoying success - both personally and as a member of these teams. His greatest achievement to date was scoring a century for Scotland against Denmark at U13 level. This was my first ever century and to achieve that landmark while playing for his country was a moment he “will always remember”. Three other centuries have followed to date, including another for Scotland. In addition, Robert has recorded a number of half centuries for his country - Ireland, England, Denmark and against various English counties feeling the weight of his run scoring. Ian Botham (England) is his top player and his inspiration.
