Surrey 2nd XI won by an innings and 195 runs on the second day. For the winners, there were 26 fours in Ducat's 210, an innings of 205 minutes, and 10 fours in Spring's 102, scored in just under 2 hours. Together they added 161 runs for the Surrey 2nd XI fifth wicket. In the Berkshire second innings, Shoosmith and Cave put on 51 runs for the ninth wicket. Ducat's innings of 210 was the second highest of the season and the highest score for Surrey in the competition beating Holland's 207 in 1905.
