The Gnoll, Neath
by Andrew Hignell - Archivist to Glamorgan CCC

Like many of Glamorgan's cricket grounds The Gnoll is the home to both Neath Rugby and Cricket Club. The latter is amongst the oldest clubs in South Wales, with the ground having played host to many famous cricketers during the past 150 years.

The notes which follow below outline the ground.s history as well as giving further information about the early county matches staged at the ground in the 19th century, as well as Minor County, first-class, and List A one-day matches arranged by Glamorgan C.C.C.
