This return match was drawn. The match between the two sides at King's Lynn, at the beginning of the month, had been won by Cambridgeshire. For the home side, there were 2 sixes, 17 fours and 7 threes in Tebbutt's 127 not out, an innings of 1 hour and 57 minutes, and 10 fours in K G Reid's 101 scored in 3 hours and 10 minutes. L J Reid's 56 included 7 fours and Wilson scored 54. In the Cambridgeshire innings, K G Reid and Wilson put on 117 runs for the second wicket and Tebbutt and Coulson 87 runs for the last wicket. For the visitors, Falcon's 114 included 1 six and 18 fours, an innings of 2 hours and 3 minutes. There were 12 fours and 8 fours respectively in G A Stevens's two innings of 76 and 51. There were 6 fours in W Thursby's 55 not out and M H Thursby scored 51.
