Wiltshire won by this return match by ten wickets on the first day, with play being prolonged by half an hour to enable a definite decision to be reached. Wiltshire had also won when the teams had met at Trowbridge the previous week. For the winners, Mitchell took 10 wickets in the match for 118 runs, while Smith took 9 for 75. C S Awdry scored 57 and J E Stevens 50. For Berkshire debutant S H Stevens scored 53.
