Wiltshire won by ten wickets on the second day. For the winners, Newman took 10 wickets in the match for 61 runs. R W Awdry top-scored with 48. For Dorset, Arundell top-scored, also with 48. During the Wiltshire first innings, Nicholson had his finger split from the second ball he received - he left the field but resumed his innings later. In the Wiltshire first innings R W Audrey and T T N Perkins put on 61 runs for the fifth wicket.
