Notes
--> There was no play on the final day.
--> WW Whysall (1) passed his previous highest score of 10 in Minor Counties Championship matches

This card comes from the Minor Counties Research Project - research is continuing on this scorecard which can be expected to change.
Match drawn with no decision on first innings. On the first day, a heavy thunderstorm broke over the ground at the start of the lunch interval and, with the rain continuing, the cricket was abandoned for the day at 4.45 pm with less than two hours of play. On the second day, there were hopes of a start at 1.30 pm after an early lunch had been taken, but further rain ended the chance of any further play. For Nottinghamshire 2nd XI, Stapleton scored 64 not out. In the Nottinghamshire innings, Stapleton and Whysall had an unbroken partnership of 89 runs for the eighth wicket.
[Missing: Toss; umpires; in Nottinghamshire innings boundaries in Stapleton's 64 not out ad fall of fifth wicket.]
