The game between the two sides when they had met at Norwich a fortnight ago had also been won by Norfolk. For the winners, Raikes took 11 wickets in the match for 73 runs, including 7 wickets for 50 runs in the Cambridgeshire second innings. There were 8 fours in Wilson's 76, scored in 90 minutes.
