For the home team, H Gray took 13 wickets in the match for 155 runs, including 8 for 81 in the Suffolk first innings. W A Gray scored 75, Thomas 71 with 10 fours, Watts 63 with 7 fours, and Swann-Mason 57. In the Cambridgeshire second innings, Swann-Mason and Watts added 119 runs for the fifth wicket.
