Glamorgan won his match at 1.30 pm on the second day.
W H Brain captained the home team as his brother had badly injured a finger in the match against Surrey 2nd XI the previous week.
For the winners, Whittington's 67 not out contained 6 fours.
For Berkshire, Bennett top scored with 49 which also included 6 fours.
At the last minute Gibson replaced Spiller in the Glamorgan team, but A B Croom, the Berkshire twelfth-man, fielded as substitute for him until he arrived at the ground.
On the second day, Bancroft was absent as his wife had been taken ill.
Croom again acted as the substitute fielder.
