This card comes from the Minor Counties Research Project - research is continuing on this scorecard which can be expected to change.
Glamorgan won this game by 23 runs on the second day, after Devon had been set a victory target of 128 runs in their second innings. At one stage a Devon win looked likely, but Osborne was put on and caused a Devon collapse. The match in July at Cardiff had also been won by Glamorgan. For the winners, Osborne took 5 wickets for 21 runs in the second Devon innings. For the losers, Francis's 53 included 5 fours. The run margin of victory was the closest of the season.
