Glamorgan won by an innings at 4.50 pm on the second day after enforcing the follow-on. For the winners, J H Brain scored 107, which contained 14 fours 4 threes and 10 twos, Russell 82 and Bancroft 53. In the Glamorgan innings, J H Brain and Bancroft added 111 for the fifth wicket and Russell and Lowe 70 for the tenth wicket, which was the joint highest partnership for that wicket during the season. The 142 runs conceded by Barker were the most during the season in an individual innings. For Berkshire, Gibb's two innings of 85 and 59 contained 11 fours and 9 fours respectively. [An alternative version has for the first day score Berkshire scoring 82 for 5 wickets with Barrett not batting, and in the Glamorgan innings Barker conceding 133 runs and Barrett 29 runs.]
[Missing: In Glamorgan inns duration of J H Brain's 107, boundaries in Russell's 82 and Bancroft's 53; in Berkshire second inns extras breakdown, and fall of seventh and ninth wickets.]
