Buckinghamshire won by the margin of three wickets at 5.10 pm on the second day.
It was the smallest margin of victory for a team batting fourth during the season.
For the winners, Wright took 10 wickets in the match for 106 runs, as well as scoring 46 not out in Buckinghamshire's second innings.
Medlicott's 57 for Wiltshire was scored in two and three-quarter hours.
Smart, who was expected to play an important role as a bowler in the visitors' second innings, opened the Wiltshire bowling but split his thumb when he had bowled three overs.
He played no further part in the match
Awdry kept wicket when Smart bowled in the first innings and after the latter's injury in the second.
