Surrey 2nd XI completed the 'double' over Bedfordshire by winning by an innings and 93 runs on the second day. Surrey had also won the match at Bedford in May. For Surrey, Rostron scored 81, Thompson 63 not out, and Harper 55. For Bedfordshire, Taylor top-scored with 89.
