Glamorgan won by 10 wickets on the second day, after Wiltshire followed on 164 runs behind. For the victors, S Lowe and Lambert bowled throughout both Wiltshire innings, Lowe taking 10 wickets in the match for 105 runs, including 7 for 44 in the Wiltshire first innings, and Lambert 10 for 149, including 7 for 103 in the Wiltshire second innings. R Lowe's 86 contained 8 fours for the home side, and Miller top-scored for the visitors with 54. In the Wiltshire second innings, Miller and Snell added 54 runs for the seventh wicket. In the same innings, Snell is reported to have played a ball from S Lowe onto his wicket without shifting the bails.
