This match was originally scheduled for March 27, 28, 29 but postponed pending Tamil Union's protests. Tamil Union protested that their match against Burgher Recreation Club should be replayed because of an underprepared pitch, and then that Moors Sports Club had submitted incomplete scoresheets against Antonians and should be penalised. Both protests were turned down, the Executive Committee deciding the second protest was only a request to recheck the scoresheets
