11:49 GMT: End of innings
End of the match: England won by 266 runs
11:54 GMT: What a Test this has been for England, they were the better side this whole Test and didn't let India rule a single session. England have avenged their defeat and have levelled the series 1-1. Moeen Ali has been a revelation with the ball, he was perfect in this match and has certainly shown that even if he isn't a big turner, he can still be fatal with the ball. Alastair Cook has answered the criticism he faced from cricketing legends, he played firmly, made some good decisions and used Ali perfectly
12:02 GMT: Ian Bell and Gary Ballance led England to a gigantic total in the first innings and in the end Buttler's blitz completely dominated India's spirit. Alastair Cook and Joe Root played well in the second innings and added insult to India's injury. India's bowling has been poor, Dhoni will have to make some tough decisions as most of his men failed to score and or take wickets. This was a batting track but India's strong batting failed, their bowling wasn't up to the mark as while Anderson was swinging the ball both ways the Indian bowlers failed to get swing
Man of the match: JM Anderson
12:19 GMT: That is it for the 3rd Test. Join us on the 07 of August for the 4th Test. Till then goodbye
12:20 GMT: Bad news for India as they will play without Ishant Sharma at Old Trafford as he is still injured
12:20 GMT: End of the session's play
12:21 GMT: Close of play for the day
