			Hello and welcome to the coverage of 2nd test between India and England
			After being hammered by nine wickets in the first Test against India in Ahmedabad, England now have a chance to make amends. To list their wrongs from the first Test would take far too long and may well be far too obvious
			They were outplayed in every department, and coach Andy Flower has admitted that he might have made some selection errors. Flower said that he had simply misread the pitch and, as a result, second spinner Monty Panesar missed out
			India won the toss and will bat
			Another batsman will have to be brought in to replace Ian Bell, who is on paternity leave and was supposed to be with his wife for the arrival of their first child but though an early birth of a baby boy has dashed the batsman's hopes, he will still be flying to England
			Steve Finn has already been ruled out meaning England will continue to be without one of their key bowlers
			India, meanwhile, is in cruise control, and MS Dhoni had nothing but praise for his team after the first Test. They have to guard against getting complacent and thinking that simply showing up means winning. It is a problem that often plagues strong teams, and it will be India's biggest challenge if they want to keep the momentum going

			This is it for the 1st day of 2nd test between India and England. It has been up and down for both teams as first half of the day belonged to England where they took 6 wickets with regular intervals with Anderson taking the iniciative when he sent Gambhir back to the pavillion as early as on the 2nd delivery of the day, Panesar did not take long to mark his return when he outsmarted Sehwag and Tendulkar followed by Kohli. Swann also made his presence felt by ripping through Yuvraj defences. At that point India were struggling with the mere score of 119 having lost 5 of their top order batsmen when Dhoni came in and put some partnership with Pujara who stood there as rock solid till the end at 114. Panesar then dismissed Dhoni and in came Ashwin who built a partnership with Pujara comprising of 97 runs and the pair showed good resistance against the spinners and pacers.
