			South Africa won the toss and will bat
			Hello and welcome to the coverage of the third and final Test match in the three-match series between India and South Africa, being played at Green Park in Kanpur.
			After their woeful performance in Ahmedabad, India trail the series 1-0 with just this game to come so they will need to put in a much improved showing here. But it is believed that the wicket will heavily favour the spinners, given it has not a blade of grass on it, even at this early stage. Therefore, the toss will be hugely important to either sides' hopes.
			The weather forecast for the next five days is also going to test the players' stamina too. It is going to edge up towards 37 degrees, so early breakthroughs will be the order of the day, just to get out of the sun!
			But, India have some injury worries and none more so than with their captain, Anil Kumble, who, for the second Test in a row is a doubt with groin trouble. India will want to play three front-line spinners whatever happens so Ramesh Powar stands by to join Harbhajan Singh and Piyush Chawla. The return of young Ishant Sharma will certainly add some bite to the India seam attack with Irfan Pathan likely to make way despite his positive batting. Obviously, Sachin Tendulkar is still out.
			South Africa are very likely to keep with the same XI that served them so well in Ahmedabad although they might be tempted with the second spinner in Robin Peterson. But, it is felt that they will just play the one in Paul Harris.
			This will be the 22nd time these sides have met and it's the visitors who hold the upper hand with a 10-4 head-to-head advantage with seven draws. South Africa won the most recent series between the sides by two games to one at home, after losing the first game by 123 runs in Johannesburg.
			This is the 20th Test match to be played at Kanpur and the home side have won four of them, losing three and having an incredible 12 draws. South Africa have played twice here previously (in 1996 and 2004) with one heavy defeat and a draw to their name.
			The first ever Test match between the sides was in Durban in November 1992 at Kingsmead in Durban. Rain ruined the encounter which was intreguingly poised after SA made 254 and then India 277 before the hosts were halted at 176-3. Interestingly, the only man still playing from that day 16 years ago is Sachin Tendulkar and he became the first man ever to be dismissed by TV replay, adjudged run out.
			The highest individual score for India v South Africa is 319 by Virender Sehwag at Chennai in March 2008.
			The highest individual score for South Africa v India is 217* by AB de Villiers at Ahmedabad in April 2008.
