Worlington's total of 446-6 broke the previous Division One record of 403-8, scored by Woolpit in 2010. It also becomes the second highest innings score ever achieved in a Two Counties Cricket Championship match, surpassed only by Worlington's own 2nd XI's score of 455-2 scored in 2014.
The opening partnership of 326 is also new record 1st wicket partnership for Division One, toppling the 312 achieved by Frinton 2nd XI, also against Mistley, in 2017. The overall League record 1st wicket partnership remains at 339 achieved by Sudbury against Brantham in 1986, and by Braintree at Abberton in a Division C match in 2013.
