2015 profile
Aneurin ( or “Nye” ) Donald made an outstanding first-class debut for Glamorgan in the closing game of the 2014 season, striking 59 from just 60 balls against Hampshire at the SWALEC Stadium, to underline his rich potential in a season which also saw the youngster lead the England Under17s as well as playing for the England Under19s. A product of the Glamorgan Academy, Nye is a hugely promising young batsman who initially played for Gorseinon CC before enjoying a successful time in 2013 with South Wales Premier League winners Mumbles CC, as well as for Glamorgan’s 2nd XI and the Wales Minor Counties side.
