2015 profile
Jack Murphy is a promising home-grown all-rounder who has joined Glamorgan in 2014 on a Development Contract. Some standout performances with both bat and ball for Glamorgan 2nd XI and Wales Minor Counties saw Jack become Glamorganís Academy Player of the Year in 2013. This was a fitting reward for the tall all-rounder who spent much of the previous summer on the sidelines with injury. A product of the Glamorgan Academy, Jack is a young cricketer with immense potential and spent the winter of 2013/14 in New Zealand where he further developed his skills with both bat and ball.
