A left-arm spinner and a decent tail-end batsman, Suliemann Benn has been a force to reckon with since his entry in international cricket. His height helps him in getting good bounce from surfaces and he garners enough spin to trouble the batsmen. Benn was one of the major trouble creators for the English side when the English team were in the West Indies. He was more than decent in his second and third seasons in first-class cricket, picking up 32 and 24 wickets respectively. In 50 First Class matches, he has taken 168 wickets at 30.70. In the 2007-08 Carib Beer series he was the highest wicket taker with 22 wickets and that was where he got his international call-up against Sri Lanka. He has picked up 20 wickets in seven Tests he has played thus far.
