DateLine: 1st November 2008

It is all or nothing today night at the Stanford Super Series in Jamaica. The Stanford $20 million has been in the news right from its inception. With a few hours to go for the final between England and Caribbean Superstars in the Stanford 20/20, all eyes are on the prize money. It has been an eventful last week to ten days. Lot of things said about this tournament. Whether it is a success or a failure only time will tell. But already a lot of voices of resentment from former England players regarding the conduct of Stanford has raised a lot of eyebrows

Stanford pleading innocence over incident with Prior's wife, constant invasion into England change rooms has led to lot of English players voicing concern. With slow turners, poor lights in the stadium players have had lot of difficulties dealing with the conditions for a 20/20 game. Lot of sitters being dropped under lights.

Coming to the final between the two teams every dropped catch would cost $20 million. Teams would be under pressure knowing fully well that it is all or nothing now. Winner gets everything and loser gets nothing. All to play for. Both captains Chris Gayle and Kevin Pieterson will know that one mistake and it is all over.

With the slow nature of the pitch and the slow outfield England have made one change. Spinner Graeme Swann comes in place of Anderson. Whether that will work or not one will know in a few hours. So all set for the magnum opus Stanford 20/20 million dollar extravaganza.
