The following condolence message, from Chairman Pakistan Cricket Board was sent to the Pakistan cricketer, Mr Rana Naved-ul-Hasan, on the death of his father:

My dear Rana Naveed-Ul-Hassan,
"On behalf of the Chairman, Pakistan Cricket Board and on my own behalf, I write to express our deep sorrow on the untimely passing away of your father. We realize that you were far away on national duty on the tragic day and fully share your grief.
May Allah Almighty bless the departed soul and give you and your family the strength to bear this loss. Ameen."
