POLAND, Frederick William.
Amateur.
Born at Shepherd’s Bush, London, 10th October 1858.
Died at Mount Royal, Montreal, Canada, 1940.
He was educated at Newton College and Cambridge University, playing in one first-class match for the University in 1881. His county cricket was for Devon (1883) and Hertfordshire (1898-99). He entered the Church.
There is no sign of him in the 1881 Census.
