Edgar Cooper was a brisk right arm seam bowler and hard hitting lower order batsman. He had a good record in League cricket for Llanelli and Briton Ferry Steel C.C., and first played for Glamorgan against Monmouthshire in their Minor County fixture at Cardiff Arms Park in 1912.

 

Cooper made four appearances for Glamorgan during their inaugural season in the County Championship in 1921.
