Aubrey Edwards was a useful right-arm seam bowler, and like many of his generation, his promising career was interrupted by the Second World War. He joined the Glamorgan staff when hostilities ceased, and in 1947 he played against Sussex at Hove, as well as appearing in several Minor County matches for the Glamorgan 2nd XI.
The match at Hove proved to be his sole first-class appearance as he subsequently emigrated to Canada.
