Player: | DW Lewis |
David Lewis was a highly successful leg-spinner in club cricket in South Wales in the 1960`s and 1970`s. His success for Cardiff and Glamorgan`s 2nd XI resulted in Lewis making his county debut against Northamptonshire at the Arms Park in 1960, and he continued to play occasionally for the county, including in 1969 when Glamorgan won the County Championship.

His final appearances in Glamorgan`s ranks were on their tour in 1969/70 to Bermuda and the West Indies. In 1972/73 Lewis appeared in domestic cricket in South Africa, playing for Transvaal. He has subsequently served on the Glamorgan committee and for a while was Chairman of the cricket committee.
